An Ideal Student

I think this would be more applicable to this site because most of the members here are students. I was once a student like you. I experienced most if not all what you have experience. The stress and the rush are always part of being student. Lessons are from here and there. Attend class every day. Meet with friends and classmates. Study lessons and make assignments. These are some of the activities that a student should have. Passing or failing in the class is part of the game. But what are the qualities that a student must have in order to pass or make at the top? Do you have these qualities? If don’t, how do you acquire such qualities?

Actually being a student does not always mean that you have to study everyday always and you have to focus yourself only into studying. Studying is part of being a student. You are called a student because you have to study. Study what are the next lessons to be taken up and be prepared always. Although studying is necessary for students but you will not learn if you force yourself of what you do not want. That is why learning or studying should be accompanied by fun. Learning should be fun. Enjoy as a student.

In this dynamic world, it is clear that many things happen every minute. Change is always there. You have to grab the opportunity to enjoy changes around us. By these assumptions, we have to do things balance. Always study makes a dull boy. We have to socialize.

To fulfill the life as student, you must be part of different co-curricular and extracurricular activities. Study shows that most successful people are those who are active not only in academic but also to activities beyond academic aspect. This is really true because through participation in different activities in school will enhance your knowledge how to deal with real situations and manage the true purpose of what you are studying. These will also serve as the venue for you to apply what you have learned in the four walls of your classrooms. You don’t have to get only theories but also application. Most companies are looking more on your competencies on the actual performance rather on the theories you’ve learned in school.

Is it not boring that you are always inside your room with books around you? Is it not weird? If you are more on theories you become very idealistic and will not accept the imperfections of the world. Sometimes the theories you have studied is not always applicable to real life situations. An ideal student is the one who knows how to balance academics and non-academic activities. Too much or too less of something is not good. It should be fair. Equilibrium is always the answer. As students, start to begin with involvements in different activities while learning and I’m sure at the end you will feel the satisfaction you are looking for as a student. Learning is fun. Begin balance student life this school year. Aja!
